I’m over the moon…
Dear Mr Hemmings,
I feel compelled to pen you this note because I’m over the moon with the dental work you have done for me and during these difficult times of COVID19.
I can smile, laugh and now eat food properly which I used to have to cut into little pieces … it’s a real treat being able to bite into food again and not worry about dentures falling out or moving around in my mouth. I was at the stage where I was about to give up because of so many failed attempts by other Dentists.
You are a truly gifted person in your profession and I can’t thank you enough for how you have significantly improved my quality of life.
Your Team at Geans Dental Practice made me very welcome and were friendly too. Thanks Sheena for all the diary organising …. and a big thank you goes out to Nicole for supporting you in the driving seat.
Best wishes to you all.
Thank you for restoring me to a very happy state…
Dear Ken,
It has been quite a long and eventful journey since presenting myself after 13 years with what I can only describe as a mouthful of horrors.
I write to say thank you for restoring me to a very happy state of healthy looking teeth from which I smile with confidence.
Your patience, quality calm approach, and expertise made the journey so much more tolerable than even you can imagine. So, thank you for your endeavour on my behalf.
With best wishes
Brilliant work and a friendly, efficient team…
Having now had four teeth replaced with implants, I would like to say a big thank you to Ken Hemmings for his brilliant work and also to his friendly and efficient team at The Geans Dental Practice.
Ken’s work has been excellent and I would like to say that having implants has been one of the best decisions I have ever made. I could not recommend Ken and his team more highly.
Dental implants used to replace four upper incisor teeth
It is now three months since you completed the 3 implants and bridge for me. As you may remember, I was unsure about going through such a rigorous procedure and it took a lot of agonising before I eventually came round to saying “yes”. I needn’t have worried!
I wanted to write and put other people’s minds at rest. Although it was a lengthy procedure I was never in pain or discomfort and was most impressed at the lengths you went to in making sure you worked in sterile conditions. You took time to explain the procedure very clearly and gave me reminders about aftercare.
I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend you to my family and friends and I know my husband, Norman, whom you treated some 5 years earlier, would agree.
Many thanks for a job well done.
Management of facial pain from TMJ Dysfunction
(Temporomandibular joint dysfunction), chronic periodontal (gum) disease and dental abscess
I am very pleased with the Michigan splint that you made and have found it easy and comfortable to wear at night. As a result I’ve had less pain and more confidence and am able to eat a wide variety of food again.
Of course, I’m delighted with this and would like to thank you and the other dentists and staff that have pulled together to achieve this. The best is that you have really taken the fear out of the dentist’s chair!
Implant overdenture used to replace ten teeth in the upper jaw
I was referred to Mr. Hemmings by my dentist because of a persistent problem with my partial upper denture. I was very dependent upon fixative and when that failed it could be embarrassing when speaking and not always reliable when eating. Mr. Hemmings provided me with an implant retained denture.
I now have a simple gold bar in my mouth which is retained by implants and the denture clips securely to the bar. It has been a total success. Throughout the procedure I always had the use of my denture, and when it was complete, My new denture was simple to fix and remove from my mouth.
Above all, I can say, 15 months later that it has provided me with real confidence, it is comfortable, has never slipped and I now eat all foods with comfort. It looks good too!
Dental implants used to replace missing premolar and molar teeth in the lower jaw
Although apprehensive at first – and disappointed that all other treatment methods had been exhausted – I could not be more happy with the implants I have.
As I write this note I am trying to remember exactly where they are. They feel like my own teeth – except they look better. The procedure is elaborate and can be a little tense at times and the whole healing process is somewhat lengthy.
However, I had no complications and the end results are fantastic. Long may they last!
